WEEKEND AL LIMITE DELLA PERFEZIONE PER FRANCESCO MARENGHI (ACI / Castelletto)

Si è chiuso domenica scorsa il Campionato Italiano Aci Sport e Francesco Marenghi è stato protagonista assoluto dell’ultimo round svoltosi in quel di Castelletto di Branduzzo (Pv).

Dopo aver sfiorato la vittoria in Gara 1 ed aver tagliato il traguardo in seconda posizione, il pilota valchiavennasco vince Gara 2 dimostrando un feeling eccezionale con il materiale Kart Repubblic messo a disposizione da Team Driver.

Francesco ha partecipato a due soli round del campionato italiano per cui non era in lizza per il titolo ma ha collezionato in una sola competizione ben 89 punti. Durante l’anno l’atleta ha partecipato al campionato europeo Cik-Fia e l’accavallarsi delle date non gli ha permesso di partecipare attivamente alla Kermesse organizzata da AciSport.

Tuttavia è riuscito a dimostrare un’eccezionale competitività che gli avrebbe permesso di ambire al titolo.

Conclude con due podi (primo e secondo) le finali di gara con estrema soddisfazione. Umore alle stelle in vista della doppia trasferta di Portimao in Portogallo.

Francesco parteciperà con il Team Pantano, sempre sotto la supervisione di Dino Chiesa di Kart Repubblic, alla “Champion’s of the Future” ed al mondiale di Kart categoria Okj che si svolgeranno dal 29 Ottobre al 8 Novembre in terra straniera.

Questo doppio podio fa ben sperare per un positivo epilogo delle manifestazioni internazionali più ambite di sempre del panorama kartistico internazionale.

WEEKEND ON THE VERGE OF PERFECTION FOR FRANCESCO MARENGHI

The Italian Aci Sport Championship ended last Sunday and Francesco Marenghi was the absolute protagonist of the last round held in Castelletto di Branduzzo (Pv).

After touching the victory in Race 1 and crossing the finish line in second position, the driver from Valchiavenna wins Race 2 demonstrating an exceptional feeling with the Kart Repubblic material made available by Team Driver.

Francesco has participated in only two rounds of the Italian championship so he was not in contention for the title but collected 89 points in just one competition. During the year, the athlete participated in the Cik-Fia European championship and the overlapping of dates did not allow him to actively participate in the Kermesse organized by AciSport.

However, he managed to demonstrate exceptional competitiveness that would have allowed him to aspire to the title.

He concluded the race finals with two podiums (first and second) with extreme satisfaction. The mood is sky high in view of the double away game from Portimao in Portugal.

Francesco will participate with the Pantano Team, always under the supervision of Dino Chiesa of Kart Repubblic, in the “Champion’s of the Future” and in the Okj Karting World Championship which will take place from 29 October to 8 November in a foreign land.

This double podium bodes well for a positive epilogue of the most coveted international events ever on the international karting scene.
